Did anyone find a swiss army knife... You can keep it if you did, I will just stop me looking for days. I had it 'cord anchored' into the inside of my semi dry suit arm pocket, but it still vanished. Maybe in the car park or Irish sea...

BTW There were no SIBS out that day....

Who was the guy in the posh boat out of the straights to holyhead.... It was good to see a large posh boat being pushed in larger seas....

Gin Palace or not, I enjoying trying to keep up with it.... for a while...

It was Guy called Chris Adams from the blackpool area it's a Sunseeker Tomahawk followed all the way round. Wouldn't fancy the fuel bill though at 2mpg!

85 miles, 42.5 (2mpg) x 4.45 (litres per gallon) x 1.40 (£ L) = £255

That's not that bad for a big boat.

We used 110 litres over 85 miles. So.. 110/4.45 = 24.7 gallons
85/24.7 = 3.44 mpg. It never gets any better when you start adding up costs.

Optimax oil, half a big can - £20
One lifejacket canister and trigger - £16 (Jamie got nailed by a wave!)
Launch - £10
Mooring, flares, new aerial, service, ...........

Looks like most of you all had a good weekend

Seas were a bit rough on the North side out of the lee of the land so decided to leave the sib at home and have a run out on a proper boat ; )

Just calculated my fuel used for going round the Island 52 litres which I think is pretty good for a 60 Etec.

Even found my missing knife, was on my vest pocket!
