Ribex 2010 7th & 8th May

I was thinking of heading to the Solent on the 7th of May to watch Bear Grylls race HMS across the Solent to Cowes then head to Ribex for a few hours, thinking of a possible overnight stay.

Hopefully Maximus and Matt h will come althougt Matt h may be boatless so might well be swimming since he refuses to be a passenger

Anyone got any plans yet for Ribex?

Yes. I want to be there on the Friday 7th and possibly the 8th as well - depending on how interesting it is Doubt the family will want to come, so may be a solo outing
It's only a quick blast up the Solent for me - launching Lymington. Fancy meeting up?

I guess it depend on your budget, Sue & I stayed at Busigny Guest house 2 years ago, quite nice although Sally is a little disorganised.

Will be taking the friday off work so heading to ribex from cobbs quay marina at about 8.30am should be there by 10ish depending upon water conditions

Bear G is heading off from lymington at about 11AM for the dash across to ribex

OK, I intend to go this year and will be leaving from Portsmouth at about 08:30/09:00ish so that I can get Breakfast in Cowes before going onto the Exhibition.

Would be pleased to meet up with anyone coming from Portsmouth for a mini cruise over.

I plan to stay all day and return in the evening.

10.20am - Interview time for press to speak to Bear and Hugo. (At GW)

10.45am - Bear and Hugo head for start point in their 7m RIBS and press and others follow in the two 10m press RIBs.

11.45am - All arrive at Cowes Yacht Haven. Bear and Hugo walk to Suzuki stand (C4)

12noon - All reach Suzuki stand. Hugo introduces Bear, Bear announces show open and cuts ribbon / opens champagne

12.30pm - Bear unveils his new RIBQUEST RIB at RIBQUEST stand

Andy I'm planning to do similar from Christchurch, arriving Cowes Ten(ish). Phone number will be in the screen of the boat if you fancy a coffee etc.
