How small is small?

I could be up for that once the engine & hull have been reunited.

Is the River Festival happening this year? Could be an excuse for a trip?

not fussed about size of boat TBH just be good if everyone local could maybe have a cruise somewhere.

i'm not bothered about slowing down to accompany the pack if need be or if enough can arrange groups. really depends on how many and type of boat.

what about the tall ships weekend? can maybe escort a few of them up/down to cumbraes/bute as an idea?

http://www.tallshipsracesgreenock.com/

for ref i have a 5.6m.

cheers

Cool. I thought you were specifically thinking Sib, hence my ask.

Tall ships I'd love to, but that weekend is already accounted for. I wish people would look at the sailing calendar before deciding to get married!

Xk59D,

I'm open to that sort of thing. AFAIK I am free during the tall ships - but people tend not to let me know stuff like that until the last minute!

From what I can see of other cruise threads when you try to organise it by committee, as with most things in life, it never really happens. Far better to post a thread saying "SMALLER BOATS CRUISE ROUND XYZ on 00th of ABC - ALL WELCOME" and then people will either "sign up" or not.

I will be out fro the tallships weekend, unfortunately I have somehow ended up with my mother in law on the boat, I'm hoping to lose her at some point over the side.
