Rib Rendezvous 2026

Hi, where is everyone launching, parking and leaving their trailers for the weekend as the hotels all seem to have limited space for even cars alone. I've been looking at Ganavan Sands to launch plus it has a huge car park but not sure if your allowed to leave your car / trailer there and i'd be worried about leaving just the trailer.

Id launch and book a berth at Dunstafnage if I were you.

Rib Rendezvous 2026

I’m no longer involved with the admin but I can advise plans are well advanced .

There has been e mail notification and information on social media Facebook instagram .

Check out the web page. https://www.ribrendezvous.com/

The event has grown and it will be based in Oban. Easdale harbour and campsite will still be part of the weekend but the centre of the event is Oban given the need for berths. At this stage 110 boats are registered. 2026 numbers will far exceed the 125 boats of this year. There are some big and exciting developments for 2026. The organisers will post details on here for those out of the social media loop.

Launching. I would suggest Ardoran marine or Dunstaffnage. Or Easdale if you’re camping there as usual.

Id be very surprised if you'll manage to get one now regardless of RR26.

We're booked from the start of March to November already.

I’m sure between hotels. Air b@b there will be accommodation in Oban. ERR weekend was always chosen to fill a quieter week for hospitality locally. But I agree. Don’t hang about.

There are already lots of registration from NI and Ireland . Most will make the crossing of the North Channel. If that’s your intention weather conditions are a major factor as you will know.
You could hook up with them by registering and you can be put in touch with them by email or social media.
Given the event is sponsored by Redbay along with Suzuki. I imagine talking to the boys at Redbay will get you in contact with those leaving from Antrim.

Cheers, I have registered already, crossing the North Channel is the plan however is very much weather dependant. I’ve a few days off before the weekend and a few after so hopefully get a suitable window to get over and back 🤞
I’ll give the organisers a shout and see if they can pass my details to any others who are making the journey

The Rib Rendezvous 26 has now had nearly 250 boats registered. That’s twice last years massive 125 turnout. Itself a big increase in previous years. The organising committee have therefore but a limit of 250 boats which is max capacity for crew numbers which will be circa 900 . Registrations will close in 24 hours.

There are several well known brands sponsoring the event. Europes biggest rib event ?
