MeMe and my........

........."tender" - LOL - will be there. Bumped into Ian in Abersoch yesterday. He confirms he's up for it. Looks like it's going to be a decent crew/cruise.

This is Jono's timetable:-
The Plan

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saturday 15th

1pm meet at The Harbour Masters building Pwllheli in my Office (directions on my website), safe trailer parking at Partington Marine. Cruise around cardigan bay possibly land on Bardsey Island.

Some people wish to camp on Shell Island, some wish to B&B at DGR's in Barmouth and some wish to return to Pwllheli. Contact DGR if you want B&B in Barmouth.

We plan to have some food in barmouth and have a good natter and put the marine world to order (Family's Welcome).

Finishing about 9.30pm - 10pm so if anyone wants a lift back to Shell Island by RIB they can jump on my boat or MeMe's and we can drop them off on the way back to Pwllheli.

Sunday 16th

7am - Leave

7.30am - 7.45 meet at Porthmadog Fairway Buoy and cruise up to port Meirion

BBQ Breakfast - Somwhere !

See St Patricks Causway at Low Water

More Detail nearer the time

Whos Coming ?

sorry guys, looks like I'm going to miss yet another good run.
I'm currently grounded after doing my back in again!
I'll have to fit some of those fancy hydraulic seats on deetox
to iron out the bumps

Have a great weekend

There's a much better solution........

.........just eat like a horse for 6 months, get an arse as big as Jono Gorton's and away you go - all the padding you need.

The Final Plan

Saturday 15th

1pm meet at The Harbour Masters building Pwllheli (directions on my website) and launch, safe trailer parking at Partington Marine for a small charge.

Cruise around cardigan bay, Abersoch, Ceriad, Hells Mouth, land on Bardsey Island and end up in Barmouth.

5/6 PM ish Get to B&B's in Barmouth - Food and Drink

9/10pm ish The Pwllheli lot return to Pwllheli by sea (Nav Lights Needed)

Sunday 16th

7am - Leave Barmouth & Pwllheli

7.30am PROMPT meet at Porthmadog Fairway Buoy and cruise up to Port Meirion. Please note this is very SHALLOW and we are likely to be trimmed up going in, be prepared to get out and push if the need be. There is no marked channel and if you ask anyone, you will be told it is not acccesable. This is the first time ive done the trip in years, however i plan to go look at the channel on the friday evening. DONT BLAME ME IF WE GET STUCK, however it a bigger tide in the evening

9.30am Breakfast in Pwllheli - Some boats recover

10.30 / 11.00 Cruise around and see St Patricks Causway at Low Water

pm Other Boats Recover

Ahem. You've organised this so it's only fair that you go in first while we watch from a safe distance.

p.s. Watch out for big white Bubbles

From the list of people that Jono posted (or even if you aren't on that list!!) - how many people think that they will need moorings in Barmouth Harbour overnight on Saturday?!?

If people let me know I can sort moorings out with the Harbourmaster tomorrow - I have to go and see him anyway to pay my summer fuel bill ...

Cheers,

Dylan...

We've decided to come and join you for the weekend.
Jono, please could you arrange car and trailer parking in Pwllheli for the weekend?
We propose to meet at 1pm at your office, is there diesel readily available in the harbour at pwllheli?

DGR, we would like a berth in Barmouth Harbour
Also do you have any numbers for B&B?

David & Harry Simmons

Simmons0 - OK - we are full on Saturday for B&B - but suggest you ring 01341 280271 (Endeavour B&B - ask for Fiona - mention Nicky & Dylan at Richmond House). If no luck, let me know (01341 281 366 or 07973 769 712) we can always find you somewhere.

I will sort out moorings tomorrow ( RIB Rache, Ian C and Simmons 0), but if you can't dry out, let me know ASAP and I'll try and get some deep water moorings.

Cheers,

Dylan...
