Phil, as always......

....there's room with "MeMe" if you need a ride. Remember our last trip together

Whilst Phil and Jono fought over the "beached whale" I pulled a cracker. Feeling a little pissed, Phil diched me and Jono on the nearest Bouy and scarpered.

Jono,

We'll be up for that - although we probably won't make Port Merion - it depends how many breakfasts we need to get through!! We'll try to catch you up on the cruise around the bay.

And if people don't fancy camping on Shell Island, I know a nice B&B a mere 10 minutes away by RIB.........

Dylan...

Out of interest.........

..........and without the obvious retort - how does one go about camping on Shell Island. Do we just pitch our tents - bivawack on the RIBS - B&B as suggested - use a designated camp site ? What's the crack ?

We are up for camping Saturday night (15th October) at Shell Island but am getting a bit confused with what is going on during Saturday and Sunday. Could you clarify your thoughts to date?

Shell Island is Europes Largest Campsite, it as its own harbour which is accesable 1.5 hous either side of high water and its own slipway. Cou can simply turn up and camp, pay the man at the hut.

Ill be back with a plan tommorrow when back home and had some sleep

Looks like Ian will be coming . I'll definitely hitch a ride with him (bit too far to tow for a day trip).

Deetox - you still want a ride?

Anybody need B&B at Ian's?

The Plan

Saturday 15th

1pm meet at The Harbour Masters building Pwllheli in my Office (directions on my website), safe trailer parking at Partington Marine. Cruise around cardigan bay possibly land on Bardsey Island.

Some people wish to camp on Shell Island, some wish to B&B at DGR's in Barmouth and some wish to return to Pwllheli. Contact DGR if you want B&B in Barmouth.

We plan to have some food in barmouth and have a good natter and put the marine world to order (Family's Welcome).

Finishing about 9.30pm - 10pm so if anyone wants a lift back to Shell Island by RIB they can jump on my boat or MeMe's and we can drop them off on the way back to Pwllheli.

Sunday 16th

7am - Leave

7.30am - 7.45 meet at Porthmadog Fairway Buoy and cruise up to port Meirion

BBQ Breakfast - Somwhere !

See St Patricks Causway at Low Water

More Detail nearer the time

Yep, I'll be there. With Ian on BJ unless he pulls out (so far so good) in which case I'll bring the boat. Looking forward to it.
