Ahup Jono, the plan was for us, if the Arklow trip did'nt come off. We would have a trip around Anglesey. We'll be there, if the weather ok. We may launch that Conway and run across a you, see near to the time.

Round Anglesey

Love to come but I don't have a boat yet. Went on the trip with Ian through the straights and back in the dark. I would love the opportunity to gain more experience does anyone have space for me?

If it's a good forecast I may well bring the tiddler along, but not committing at this stage in anticipation of p*ss taking if I don't And yes, it does need a good wetting!

Hope the shooting went well, look forward to smokin' a few clays with you soon

jono this is one trip i would have loved to have done just like the portmeirion that i couldn't make. I have only been out of the country twice in the last 10 years and the Portmeirion trip fell when I was in Poland and the Anglesey trip I will be in St Lucia. Can you pick another of my ideal trip, wouldn't mind another trip abroad to make the most of my annual insurance cover... Australia, South Africa sound good.

Must sort something else out around Angelsey with you

PS VHF date????

That's pretty good going, mate. I've met people on Anglesey who've only been over the Menai Bridge twice in ten years

Jono - I'd personally prefer a weekend in May (not the Bank Holiday at the end of May, though) or June, but only because I'm a southern wuss and because I'm coming up to Anglesey on 25th March anyway to take Gaynor to the Liverpool v Everton derby. Obviously, as a West Ham fan, I wouldn't normally bother, but since she's supported Everton since a kid (she likes the blue shirts ) and never been to a match (!!), I feel I ought to introduce her to the delights of live premiership football and protect her from those shifty scousers in the Kop

Does this mean Gaynor will have to cross "The Bridge" to get off the island?
