Sorry to hear that dhd. Catch up soon.

Not long now Nitrox, blue thunder, Jolly togger, Tony, davidwilliams, Neil, kerny and George.

There's over 8 of us confirmed so I'd say a "cruise" already!

"The Menai Strait Ribnet Cruise -Easter 2011" is on!

I finished my last day in my current job today, so reason to let loose. New one on the 3rd.

rib trip

We hope you guys have a wonderful trip tomorrow. The weather has been fantastic for the last week so we hope it continues for you.

Roger and I would have liked to have thumbed a lift but working unfortunately.

When crossing Britannia Bridge we will have a look out for you.

Enjoy

Better late than never

As usual I have to wait until everything else is sorted before I can come out to enjoy myself.
Hopefully Hawkeye will start up and we can zip over to meet you at Menai. Mark will also be launching from Conwy Beacons in Carma 3. I have had a message from Ian ( Black Jack) who lives at Nefyn, he hasn't been around for some time and may join us on the sea today.

So was I the only one who arrived in Menai Bridge at 1.15 wondering where everyone was.... Launched in Beaumaris and then had a potter down as we were early!! Or so I thought.....

Stuart I can't apologise enough. 15 boats were there at 12.45 andby 1.00 no one else had shown up. Wrongly, after a few people said "are we going then?" I agreed. Another boat arrived at 1.08 and caught us up after launching ASAP at Beaumaris, and as a result got his car stuck and had to be pulled out by a tractor.

I'm so sorry, I feel awful for listening to the masses. Please accept my apology? I'll certainly buy you a pint in the Gazelle and I hope you weren't put out too much. Tony T apologises also.

No problem! We did have to wait a beaumaris slip for a bit as a guy was faffing but it wasn't a rib.... We were then still early ish so we pottered down.... No response on channel 77 either!

I didnt want to hang around for too long so decided not to get there too early....

We ended up going to Llandwyn island as i was not sure of the way (other than following the coast) and it would of been a bit boring on our own!

These things happen. Looks like you had a good day...

Sorry Stuart, I'd never intentionally exclude anyone and I feel awful as I'd not have been happy in your position.
