Nacho Run

Not trying to organise anything, but if anyone is up for a run out to Yarmouth on 2nd January please feel free to join us (weather permitting of course). Will aim to leave Hamble Point at 11.00 and meet up off Calshot Spit.

I was thinking of a Solent run Sat 8 Jan... weather's looking pretty poor for this Sat currently.

However if weather improves I may be up for this on 2nd- would be good to get out & catch up with people

I was just about to post up the same.
I'm hoping to leave SDS about 11am (earlier if I can get organised) so might be just behind you - If I can't see you off Calshot I'll hopefully see you in Yarmouth. Another Rib "Triple O" might be meeting us as well coming from Poole - but with the current forecast the run from Poole for them would be a bit lumpy!

Yes from my point of view.
Suggest VHF72.
Planning on ETA Yarmouth about midday.
With the southerly wind, we'll cross from Southampton Water to Cowes and hug the island up to Yarmouth.

Weather is not looking good for us at the moment but if it looks better on Sunday morning we can be on the water within half an hour.

I could be up for a trip down.
Would be launching from Cross House Slip, unless anyone can recommend alternatives?

Hamble Point Marina, which is where we'll be launching. It's our home marina and is launchable (is that a word?) and recoverable at all states of tide. Also good parking for car and trailer.

Fyi the Wheatsheaf is doing food, but it's booking up. I've got 5 people on board and have booked for 12.15. I suggest anyone who's definitely going call them and reserve a table (or take sandwiches as plan B). Their number: 01983638359
