Indeed, bit harsh as he did most of the cleaning too!

Of course we are pious, as all good religious people are!

Best we've had it look since we bought it.

You need to zoom in quite far to get it to work as there's so much info. I found ours did the same.

Hadd, I think my drawing with my daughter isn't far off your map. Not bad off the top off my head, our maps and tuff chart are in Anglesey.

Wots a plotter? If you leave the hand brake off at chris's slip you'll end up throu the bridges soon enough and you don't even have to point the right way!!

Update - < 2 weeks to go. Cruise with evening Hog Roas at Coed Helen Caravan Park

Please all read this link if attending. RIBnet Forums - Announcements in Forum : Upcoming RIB cruises

ALL BOATS SHOULD BE SELF SUFFICIENT IN ALL ASPECTS OF BOATING AND THE CRUISE. THIS IS JUST A GROUP OF LIKE MINDED PEOPLE GETTING ON THE WATER TOGETHER NOT AN OFFICIAL EVENT.
Notwithstanding the above, as at any other time on the water, I'd expect all who are out on the day to help others in any way they can and keep an eye on eachother.

Ribnet Channel 8 (please don't all natter too much)
Holyhead Coast Guard channel 84 but usual radio procedures apply.
Holyhead Working Port Channel 14 (Only if needed! this isnt the marina!)

NITROX HAS INFORMED THE COAST GUARD OF OUR INTENDED PLAN AND WILL UPDATE THEM WEATHER DEPENDANT.(Please don't everyone overwhelm them with the same info!) I have also let Beaumaris lifeboat what we are doing, hopefully they will have a training run that day.

Departure 11.00-11.30 am on Sat 28th April from Ty Calch Caernarfon heading anticlockwise.

Please liaise with Kerny/Tony T or Chris for specifics if launching here . In summary, be early, the tide is low at 9.50am but chris is using a tractor. On arrival he will unhitch your boat and line it up on the beach to then enable a speedy launch of everyone. People will return at varied times so will be less stressful.

Heading anticlockwise round the Island. LW at Caernarfon is 9.50. So going through the bridges approaching 1/3 tide. IF YOU DONT KNOW THE ROUTE THROUGH, ENSURE YOU FOLLOW OTHERS IN FILE V CLOSELY. THIS IS CRITICAL IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR PROP!! ANYONE WHO KNOWS THE ROUTE PLEASE HEAD TO THE FRONT. (Rocknrolla/TonyT/Chris Caton/davidgriffiths etc)

We have permission from Holyhead marina (NOT THE WORKING PORT) to go in, but you must raft up. When entering holyhead brackwater please keep the green bouy to starboard and pass by at 12knts only, at the marina and moored yachts keep your speed to 4knts

Boats launching at Menai Bridge/Porth Daniel or Beaumaris need to be in the water waiting by 11.30-12 or you may miss the pack coming through. Others then are joining from Beaumaris and onwards.

As we travel round the Island the tide's coming in, good for anyone who turns back and goes through the bridges alone or with others who don't know the route so well as there'll be much more water underneath them.

As we head past Puffin Island, if its too rough on the NE side we will likely split in to groups of differing speed or all head back, heading back down the Strait and round the SW side of the Island.

Due to the number of boats, other than ensuring all at Ty Calch set off together, we can't warrant waiting for anyone who is late to launch. Once moving, it may be best to head along in groups to watch for eachother. Naturally an 8m boat will go on ahead of a 5m with any type of sea. I hope though we can stay together up to Puffin at least, then make headway and stop offs where we wish. I envisage a bit of a longer stop at holyhead as we have permission and it is sheltered for fuel exchange, toilet breaks and to see the tall ships.

Boats coming:
HP,kerny, hadd, Pikey Dave, discomick, IndyR1, nitrox, Neil Mccrirrick, telcowilliam, Rocknrolla, Chris Caton, straitman, yoyo, bradosh, Tiger, Asswakr, Festinghouse, Pow2gran, Andyhendersonuk, 1978searider, Ronin, Phil riley, Silverfox, Ribeyemick, shaunholland, cookie, Jeffhutcheon, chris262112, bilksem .... from Belgium! RMS, Tony T, Europa, ribcraftsteve, Nikal, natalie and "friend", Luke sharples, dragon hawk ficht, next chapter, KND, C-Fury Simon, Alan Priddy?

The thread is getting v busy, to try and ensure some direction, pls use PMs for as much one to one (ooer) action.

Spent all Sunday afternoon polishing the toobs, (given they are nearly 30 years old its not made a great deal of difference, but it made us feel better).

Changed the trailer tyres and did the bearings while I was at it.

Getting excited now.

Is it time to start commencing the sun dance to make sure we have some

Some folk do put wd40 on to protect the tubes. Bit slippy though.
