Gutted! Can't make this, my best mates 40th birthday party that day, and as we have both hit it hard over the 20 years plus reaching 40 is a milestone to celebrate.
With a little planning might try for the Caernarfon to Dun Laoghaire trip 7th July 2012.
God speed and a safe trip.
Out.

Might meet up with you guys depending on work! Wont be attending the hog roast tho - sorry!
I did it a while ago with a 6m Humber and my 5.2 Narwhall and it did get very slow wet and uncomfortable on the narhwall until everyone jumped on the Humber but then I had the best run back from skerries to tbay ever - nice big regular waves i could launch of every single one !!!

Certainly would be, as I'm not sure our respective wives and kids buy the fact that we NEED to go out on the boat all day!

Hi All,
Sorry if this has all been said already but I have the following slight concerns:
Last list I could see had about 30 RIBs, which is ace, but how many are launching at Ty Calch, and can he accomodate that many cars and trailers for two days, or do we need to find a solution? Stagger launching and remove trailers somewhere?
For the Coed Helen do, I've just booked the premier inn in that there Canaervon, which is near Ty Calch but approx 12 miles away from sat night do. Would it be useful to get another list going for the Hog Roasters so we can get a minibus sorted?

Quick update!! I spoke on the phone to Chris a Ty Calch this afternoon regarding storage and he said that he can take up to 8 ribs at his yard and Phil and Jan at the adjoining farm can take up to 30 ribs for a small fee. Also, phil will allow some tents on his field for anyone who wants to camp So there are no issues with storage Chris will have 3 tractors on the go and those of us on the field can wait in a queue and drive down to Chris's to be launched when called, this will save blocking the road.
For your information... once you have crossed the footbridge at Caernarfon harbour Coed Helen caravan park is only 5 mins away.
