Mull/Treshnish Isles Weekend Trip

Hi folks,

I’m arranging a 2 night camping trip around Mull for the weekend of 9th/10th May 2009. Plan is to drive to Oban and launch from there on the morning of Friday 8th May. Camp on Tobermory on the Friday night. On the Saturday head to the Treshnish Isles and camp there for the night. On Sunday head back to Oban stopping off at Staffa and Iona along the way. The date’s are weather dependant at the moment and anyone is welcome to come along.

Does anyone have any experience of anchoring at the Treshnish Isle and can offer any advice? Also any advice on navigating through the Torran Rocks? Any info would be most appreciated.

Cheers Jim
