Barry we would have come along but unfortunately the boat is now in Anglesey waiting for the new season to start on the 5th March.
Have a good day.

Hi Barry
Ooo-er its sometime ago since I've had time to come on here. Client today said you had mentioned coming over. We'll be out there weather permitting with an inshore rescue crew on board.
See you there if you come over-the other boat should be here as well by then but probably wont be using it as Nik and Simon are away for the weekend.
Nice easy tide. Still plenty of mud bottom end of slip but should still be free launch as ferry isnt running til easter. I've virtually had it to myself all winter-it'll come hard sharing it in summer! Mind you it would be really really nice to have some warm weather

configured same as other one-winning combination for us at our location, so if its not broke don't fix it!
Grim out there yesterday ( so rough in the channel that I thought you must be about somewhere cos it was your sort of weather! ) but absolutely b****y marvellous today, a taste of spring perhaps.

yep we will be out - probably wont launch til 1245 or so. Water does not go off the end of the slip on that tide. M'rescue crew have cocked up their dates (all their other groups got here ok but the organiser is on this one - nuff said! ) so we have a small batch of folk who have been waiting for a cancellation. Don't want too many this weekend as Nik and Simon are away. No ferry as yet so your launch should be free, and the cod fishing such as it was appears to have died for the spring now, so slip should be fairly quiet. Sunday fx still looks the best (probably cos youre coming on saturday !! )

come and have a chat any time-we're out a lot of the time in winter and most of the time in summer. You can always e mail, pm or whatever to check. Its only just down the road from you and its easy enough. We keep the rumours going about a difficult slipway to keep visitors down to reasonable numbers! Dont come when Barry or Graham are here though- they think it always blows a hooligan here- the rest of us know it only blows when they arrive. I'm thinking of bribing them to stay away

ok - how much do you want to go somewhere else ???????
Blowin a hoolie and b****y freezing. Its been nice all jan and feb, no snow here and the wind has been tolerable (the only weekend it was bad we were working inside Barrow in Furness docks with F8/9 blowin and forecast a 10 but we did it)- never had to abandon a day on the water-and then the terrible duo came over.
Please let me know when you are coming again and I'll get the council to issue sandbags and a flood warning!
Seriously though come and see us for a brew any time when we have sorted plans out here. We'd be even more pleased to see you if you leave the boats and your weather at home!
