Islay and jura

Heading to Jura then Islay on Saturday 24 July. Leaving tayvallich at 10.30 am across to Craighouse then onto Port Ellen sports day. Then on round the Mull of Oa to Bowmore. Anybody welcome to join us.

Hi I am interested but it is abit much for a weekend.
I could maybe do it on a bank holiday weekend (perhaps August).

Talking logistics,
1, how do you get from dumfries to the launching slip?
2, where is the launching slip?
3, how many miles is the trip?

Macca 24th is the tayvallich weekend the green will be busy so you may have difficulty at that time as if weather good there will be a gathering of allsorts including me!!
