I know I'm going to regret this but......

As summer fades to a distant memory , the nights draw in, the temperature drops(making our tubes go soft),the boatshow is done, xmes decs appear in the shops,we start annoying the other halves by hanging about the house at weekends more and the annual list of things to fix/improve/ polish on the boats is thought about ............

its about time for the Jolly to the Folly to raise its ugly head

I think we have been lucky in the last four or five years with weather, but to be 100% honest I wasn't that impressed with the Folly in December 2012.

I'm wondering if its time for a change of venue - maybe to the mainland? This would remove the weather 'risk' of no one actually going due to horzontal rain and snow, and also a change of venue may attract some new faces for 2013?

Am looking for suggestions and possible attendees please.

Just an idea.....

If a hog or lamb roast does happen and we get someone to sponsor/pay for it then we could sell tickets and give the money to our charity? I could bring the macmillan rib down too for a pampering???

RIBase
If we could sort out a way of getting it down the road I would be happy to donate a haunch of venison for a roast/BBQ.
