Freedom Cruise South West?

Question first....so where are you making plans (Nationwide/UK) for you're First outings when the Lockdown rules allow??

Also anyone fancy a Winter Outing (when possible) in the South West?
We've never bothered to Winterise and have enjoyed some great Outings in Dec-March period over the years.
Depending on preference I'm happy to pencil in either South Coast or North (Bristol Chanell)
with the only premiss being an early start and a decent weather window
Nothing too strenuous ...the idea being just a decent days run at around 15-20 knots to a place/destination of some interest.
My RIG is newly serviced and ready to Roll and I just like the idea of getting out and DOING.. instead of staying Home and Planning and Fettleing!
We will be getting out with the above proviso's in Dec and or Jan ...and just thought I'd put it out there if anyone is of like mind...and would like to join us Cheers

I'm looking at getting out from Plymouth between Christmas and New year, weather depending.

Sunday 3rd will be the annual Nacho run I suspect so Saturday 2nd could work too.

Can't escape this week but happy to go play any day from the 18th

Would love to get out over the winter, Covid restrictions allowing.
Boat's at home on the trailer now , so Solent is probably most likely venue for me....Nacho run weather permitting.

Think with work absoluely crazy and Christmas coming up will be unlikely to get out until Jan

I’m out from Swanwick Wednesday, going to look at a mooring at Wicor, so a nice morning run through Portsmouth harbour down to Porchester, then over to Cowes for lunch then a cruise up the Beaulieu before heading back.

Oh no, I hadn't realised... We took our 4-month old baby for his first sail today on the sailing yacht with a few more creature comforts and heating, and I was only just saying to my wife that we should pop up to the Wheatsheaf when we're next on the RIB! Clearly we need to find some new venues.

Since posting I've found an issue with my Hydraulic Helm which is at the Engineers awaiting parts....
I'll post again when it's sorted
Had some truly lovely days lately too

So, it can't be a Nacho Run in Jan?

Maybe a socially-distanced Yarmouth-for fishnchips-run or something???

Will keep an eye on this, and would love to join in.

Hoping to have the new boat back to Bristol around Christmas time.
