Fowey

Now now, It was a GPS error that caused me to try and drive through start point, nothing to do with the waypoint I put in, besides that was years ago, i am a proffessional now you know.

See you all next week.

Unfortunatly I will no longer be able to provide a local presence when you visit Fowey.

I am working in Plymouth, on the Coastguard rib, during the Powerboat races, and all thier practices. So if you are nearby please say hello.

Fowey

Hi Roy

There is a slip way in Fowey it self so you can launch there and this would b best, just make sure you dot drive through the high street as the boat wont fit, trust me I know this.

Are you all going to Plymouth from Fowey on the Saturday and the Sunday?

What time are you leaving Fowey to head for Plymouth?

Me and my two saucepans were going to go from Mylor to Fowey this weekend anyway so we would like to tag along in our baby RIB if the sea is nice and flat - If its not calm we wont be able to keep up

Does anybody know the refueling options in Plymouth. I will need to re-fuel there for the return trip to Mylor.

Your best bet is Mayflower Marina.
In through "The Bridge". Past Devils Point and first right.
Petrol, diesel and LPG on the dock. Take cash cards or cheque.
Open 24/7.

Hi ya

It has to be Mayflower marina, as it will be the only Marina in Plymouth with petrol,
QAB will not be selling petrol to the public this weekend, as fuel has been put aside for the Class 1's.

Fowey

Hi Roy

I saw your thread, thursday we went straight to Fowey and all met in the King f Prussia for a drink, Friday went to Mevagissey and some went fishing in the bay after, then Saturday to Falmouth , Charlestown and St Mawes then back along the coast for more fishing, Sunday to Plymouth for Class 1 racing, then over towards Mevagissey for sunbathing then Monday 4 boats returned home and myself and Tweedy Pie left Tuesday to go home,

I did see Hot Lemon moored on the town quay in Falmouth but no one was on board, We must have just missed you on our tour around.

Or alternative story from Julian would be.
Arrived in Fowey, got pissed. Found B+B, dumped gear and went back to pub.

Friday. Went to Mavagissey, found a pub had a drink (or two) cruised back to Fowey meet everyone for a meal, got pissed and fell asleep.

Saturday, Went to Falmouth come back and got pissed.
Sunday, Went to Plymouth, came back and got very pissed. Woke up next day feeling like crap

After that I have no idea what happened but I am guessing it was much the same. Never mind the run home soon woke him up! Alan P
