Hi
I'm just wondering if any boats are staying up for the week after the IERR? I'm not trying to crash anyone's party but if some boats were - and open to company - it might help me make a decision. Having originally planned about a 10 day trip (a bit before and week after) my crew's just bailed on me. So I'm trying to decide whether to come up solo - balancing the drive vs time on the water. The tow doesn't bother me as I've done longer. So just wondering if the event stretches out unoficially afterwards?

I am sure there will be some boats that stay on for part of the week. A group of us usually do a Monday cruise, so you could tag along. If the weather is good perhaps Tuesday as well. There may be a group of boats arriving mid week based in Oban who cant make IERR. I suggest you use the event WhatsApp group when it is open to all on the Thursday to network with all those attending . We are currently at 103 boats, well in excess of last years biggest number of 83 Registrations

My first year I was billy no mates on my own and have made some really good friends that I now talk to most days (generally about utter crap...)
We will be be driving on the Thursday afternoon and heading out for a trip somewhere on the Friday and then another on the Monday all tbc and weather dependant. We found a couple of tag alongs last year that we have kept in touch with and met up with a few times in the past 12 months so you're welcome to join us if it suits.

Guys - thank you both very much for that. Knowing that a few folk are staying a little longer is encouraging. A chance to get a couple more days out on the water, and perhaps some company to boot, will make the effort all the more worthwhile.

If anyone interested in JCraft 680 I posted in the for sale section, we can bring it to Easdale before/during the RV for sea trials.

I’m certain there will be a fair few out on Friday and on the Bank holiday Monday. Certainly weather a factor as always.
Currently 120 boats registered, well in excess of the previous high water mark.

I appreciate that it must be a monster event to organise and I’m sure all attending will agree that we all appreciate your efforts.
This week we have brought back our rib from Plymouth and I have been cleaning and servicing ready for the event.
Hoping to stay on to the Monday evening so that we can use the boat on the Monday morning. Will be heading up to Port Appin and hopefully further North on the Friday for our shakedown trip. Are there any groups on the Friday doing anything in the evening for drinks/food?

I’m sure there will be shakedown cruises on Friday.
As for Friday food, nothing planned by us. I think the Oyster bar is full Friday. Mostly those camping locally attending ERR.
The WhatsApp group goes open to all , not just admin on Thursday, so that will be a good way to hook up, plan , organise trips and food.
The Whisky Vault Oban is a good option , you can order from the beer garden there and the best Chippy in town delivers to you in about 5/10 mins.

Luckily my crew has decided to seize the day and is now determined to come. We're traveling up over night the 28th and staying on the Lungha Estate until the 11th. So if anyone else is in Craobh we'll see you there.

125 Ribs . In fine conditions albeit windy, more than was apparent from this video.
Lunch in Tob . The circumnavigation of Mull was only for a few boats given sea conditions at the top of Mull .
Saturday night was a Cilli supper in Easdale Hall
Sunday was round Lismore and Lunch Waypoint Kerrera
Monday was a stunning day with many out experiencing the west coast. Some in area for the week given the good forecast.

Was there a big orange Delta with a wrap around semi cabin in the fleet? I spotted her from afar at Tobermory but wasn't sure if she was involved in the cruise or not... Looked an impressive machine!

I've enjoyed seeing Donny's videos of the event in the past but I gather he was stuck sheltering from the weather on the west coast of Jura this year so I assume nothing to be uploaded from him?
