Would have loved to join in but that very weekend only I will be at the Paris boat show. We are exhibiting there but not showing ribs only our new range the Parker 660 Pilothouse and Parker 660 Weekend

Any one going from Poole area ? I would rather go in convoy to reduce any risks, the water is so cold I dont think I would stand much of a chance if I went overboard being on my own. Accidents do happen. So anyone fancy going in convoy from Poole.

I will be leaving Poole Quay at 10.45 ( assuming the weather holds) . Assuming a gentle cruise to Bramble for 12.00 , or maybe direct to Folly for 12.30. Very similar boat size /speed to you so a good match.

Potentially Avocet may be going from Poole if Grimalkin is back. If not he will be on my boat. We have done several trips 'in company' and aim to cruise from 25-30knts if the weather suits, or down to 20ish in the worse waves !

Watch this space Saturday for final weather decision etc .......

Pete

Sunday currently looks positively hot with 7C forecast!

Availability of Grimalkin is now down to Garmin repairing and returning the GPS to Ribcraft in time. Should know on Friday and if all's well am available to go to Yeovil to collect on Saturday. Will let you know but either way departure from Poole at 10.45 sounds good.

Mrs A may require more than 7C but, again, will let you know!

I may have to miss this!

A charge of £225 to launch and recover boat makes it financially unviable, despite the promise of good company

Will stay in touch over the next couple of days

jolly to the folly

is there anyone leaving from southampton?i can get to the drystack for 10.30-11 and would be grateful if someone has a spare seat if steve can't make it as i was expecting to meet up with him for a lift.

Steve, that sounds too expensive to launch for the day so no worries if you can't make it.

We'll be going from Southampton Saxon Wharf at about that time (maybe a bit later as it's not an hour to Cowes) if anyone needs/wants a ride.

Due to the conditions on the ground at the Dry stack (and the cost), I am not going to request the launch of the Parker.

My appologises to those who requested a seat, I hope you have time now to arrange alternative rides, as many others have kindly stepped forward.

I still hope to get over myself and hope to share a drink with you all

Regards
Steve

Im waiting to see what the weather is like before I commit fully, I know PeterM is leaving poole Quay around 10.45ish so if I go I will try and meet up with him in Poole Harbour or just oustide and go in convoy but if im not there dont worry. If the weather is crappy I dont think I will make it. We will see
