Channel Islands - Thursday 10 to Monday 14 July 2008

Afternoon,

I know its a few months away still but accommodation can be hard to find in July. The event will run from the Solent and we will visit :

Alderney
Jersey
Guernsey
Sark

As well as some other places over the 4 days. If your interested in the event I would strongly suggest booking accommodation as soon as possible other wise you may have to sleep on the boat like I did last year.

Again let me know if you would like to come along

Cheers

Julian

Channel Islands`

Hi Roy

I decided that sleeping on the boat for 6 days is a bit much so I have booked a hotel near the marina with a few others. The details are

Hotel Apollo Hotel
Address St. Saviour's Road
St. Helier, JE2 4GJ
United Kingdom
Phone +441534725441
Fax +441534722120
E-mail reservations@huggler.com

Were staying in Jersey for the entire trip but will be going to places each day etc.

Be good if you can make it

Cheers

Julian

Looking forward to this, with a bit of luck I should be in the water by then.

Happy to help out with ferrying people to the hotel etc., it's quite a hike to the Apollo!

Lets hope for similar weather, I was in Jersey with the Cruise to Carteret on Saturday and it was baking hot.

Channel Islands 2008

Afternoon Folks,

The time is fast approaching and only a few weeks until we depart for the Channel Islands.

Hope everyone has managed to get accomodation, I know the Appollo is now full up but we may have a spare room between us so let me know if anyone needs a twin room.

I will sort out the final plan over the weekend and post it here next week so everyone is up to date with times etc.

Keep your fingers crossed for good weather.

Julian

Fingers crossed. Am sure someone would be up for a run back with you.
