Nice looking Solent Bruce. I'd like to see it in the flesh.

Would love to join you but most of the kit is out the boat for painting. Have a good day. If you go out in November give me a call. May see you at Church in couple of weeks if you still here Andy.

Queen Elizabeth II

On our way back from Cowes to Hayling we ran along side the Queen Elizabeth II for awhile.
A mighty fine and impressive ship.
Even more impressive was the fact that she was doing a steady 20 Knots from Cowes and out to sea in what I would have thought were quite narrow passages for her.

Hi Robin

Yes we came back in darkness. I've lightened the pictures slightly with Photoshop to try and show the ship up better. I can't believe I actually used my flash on the camera. Thats what people seemed to be doing to us from the ship and I suppose I just followed suit.
Our first trip at night. It was fun and shows a different light to our sport. (Pardon the Pun).
I think I'll need to take a small torch for reading my instrumentation in future.
We had calm seas but I bet in a rough sea it would take a lot of concentration.

Regards Biggles.
