So..
Probable numbers are 21 boats from 4.7m up to 10m, approx 60 people.

Yarmouth Harbour will hopefully let us all use the Pink Pontoon - tell the berthing master you are on the Nacho Run.
ETA Yarmouth around midday.

The Wheatsheaf is going to be busy, so don't wait for everyone to arrive - order your food as promptly as you can!. You'll need a table number so they know where to deliver the food, so pick one before you queue up.

If we want a photo shoot after lunch, I suggest we try to be back on the pontoon at 2pm so we can muster outside the harbour for the photo at about 2.30 (It may take a while to un-raft). This should give boats enough time to get back to their starting points and recover before it gets dark.

Unless it's in use, we'll use VHF72. Plan B is VHF 8.
I'll be on Black Adder - 8.9m Shearwater Cabin Rib.

I'm not going to be ready for tomorrow, I'm close but have not concluded sea trials yet and Yarmouth in January is too much of a test I am afraid.

I am gutted but have fun, looks like a nice day for it.

Please put me down for The 2021 Nacho Run.

Ribtecer.

As there are quite a few of you that I don't know (and probably many I do know but won't recognise off their boats) - do say hi so I can try to put faces to names.

I'll be easy to recognise as I'll be the one in the boating gear. Oh, hang on, maybe that won't work.

OK. I'll be the one looking like a penguin.

Not going to make it today.....10 miles down the road my lighting board has totally failed!
It was fine yesterday.
Too far to wing it.
Will limp home and sort it out.
Have a great run all

Well have found the problem....its the 13 pin plug from the trailer... all wires / connections corroded to hell internally once I took it apart. The pins are fine externally!

It's one of the Maypole MP128 plugs, but the sealing grommit is too wide for the cable so I sealed it with tape...obviously not well enough. Have ordered a different brand. Will also strip down lighting board plug & check just in case, although the board itself is working.

Did think whether I could have just swapped te 13-6 pin adapter on to the lighting board plug and plugged the lighting board directly into the car, but the cable was not quite long enough - even after sliding the holders back into the trailer. Oh well.

Life was more simple before lights were fitted to trailers!

Trust a good and safe time's been had by all.

Will have to have a run out in a couple of weeks instead.
