Hi Andre
Great be good to see you again, campsite is not too far, Martin may even take pity on you and drop you off for a class or two of falling down juice.

Not to give away too many details the rib will be all black with 4 x Scot seats, powered by Cummins QSD 2.0 170HP and Bravo 1 drive but also a good chance this could be the now Cummins VW TDI 165HP and Bravo 1 drive

this rib will be at Seawork in June

You can always take her for a spin round the Island

You will all be ecstatic to know that GrandmotherGotchi is looking at making an appearance The good news is that she's fully French and is 85 so won't be coming out on the RIB. The bad news........

A quick update from SB&R land... The current thinking is that they will do their Alderney run the same weekend, hopefully we can all get together for at least a couple of beers. It should be a corker of a few days.

Spot on, we've finally completed deliberating all the options. I believe that we're all crossing on the Friday and returning Sunday. The next deliberations are whether we all camp or try to get into B&Bs. Someone mentioned herding sheep earlier

Really looking forward to it now and especially meeting you guys on the water and over a couple (or more) beers.

I'll pop over when there's anything significant to add. We haven't looked into passage planning in detail yet but wil probably form an independant flottilla (mind you getting tides etc right probably means we'll be crossing much the same time anyway).

Seriously, I look forward to meeting all of you lot, and I think it will be a great weekend especially if all the frenchies and Dutch manage to make it too

Don't worry, once you're old enough to do the RYA Powerboat course you'll learn about how tides aren't only important to sail boaters

So you've never been in a strong wind against tide situation then? One day you will, one day

Actually you've just reminded me, I must pack the keelhauling kit
