Whilst we hope to make it to Alderney at some point this year, Mrs A and I will be away in Africa on 13 June and so will not be able to join you this time.

Perhaps we'll organise an alternative later cruise in due course ....

I've booked for 20 and said there could be a few more which they said is fine, just need to let them know numbers. I'll do a final role call just before we go. The Georgian would like to offer us a couple of menu deals that are a good price and also help them cope with a large single party (the Harbour Lights wanted to do the same). When I have the menu's I'll post it here.

Hi,

I would like to confirm my attendance subject to nothing going wrong with my rib between now and leaving, having had some fuel related problems recently.

My dad will also be coming along in his sports cruiser from Lymington which I will be using as accommodation once there and a kind of safety boat for the crossing. I may have 1 more crew so possibly a total party of 3.

I wondered if anyone was leaving from Poole, and if so what their plans were so perhaps we could make arrangements to go in convoy if possible.

Here's hoping for good weather .

Andy

Good news Andy.

I'll be coming from Portsmouth but will need to top up at Yarmouth before meeting at the Fairway Buoy.

Don't think a time has been set yet but understand 'hanging around' the safe water mark isn't much fun in a small(ish) rib so will try and get my timings correct.

Looking forward to this now.

Hi Andy - We'll leave from Poole. Ideally we would like to have left quite early - not sure if there are any other Poole boats coming although a friend of mine will decide two days before the cruise (6.8m Rib). Let me know your thoughts on departure times.

Loving the weather optimism two weeks out. Anyway another important topic, food.

As a way of confirming numbers and to enable us to all catch a few (real) names along the way could you post your FIRST name and then INITIAL of your surname followed by your menu choice. Like this

CHRIS F - Hock, Chicken, Torte.
