Flipped which way? Up and over or barrel rolled? I guess he had to find the limit at some point.

Someone must have a phone photo!

There are some video of certain bits....which I'm sure will surface shortly...much like his boat did.

Which came out in better condition - Flipper or the SR?
From the posts sounds as if Matt's OK which is the main thing.
Righting it (the SR not Flipper) in heavy seas must have been fun.

Just got back from this - great weekend and great company not to mention eventful!
Truly unpleasant crossing back from Cowes back to Poole just now - horrible solent chop against the wind, mountainous breaking waves in Christchurch bay, driving rain and Kamikaze windsurfers in Poole Bay.

NOT forgetting the 'flipper' event by Matt H yesterday - see attached unedited footage. All turned out fine but could have had an altogether more serious outcome

Who's in
Well - we failed on both above fronts .....huge fun weekend. Just home and showered after a tough trip back with Avocet - full credit to him for skills at the wheel , and Longjohn for taking the Capelli through the same ( especially over the breaking waves off Hengisbury head.

MattH is a lucky luck man - engine running again fine on return and de watering

I suspect the incident could be the subject of an entire thread in itself . I'd guess Matt was in the water for maybe 30 seconds before we were alongside and the boat 'flipper' flipped back very easily. We had everything very under control ( apart from the broach roll in the first place) - Matt has now found the flight limits and surfing limits of an SR4.7

Had to laugh at the 'whop whop' from Matt as he ducked under to let tubes down.

Great fun weekend - made by everyone present . What's everyone doing next weekend ? Whisper may be over his hangover by then - but judging by this morning actually maybe not .....( and I'm not spooning AJ again - and as for the snoring - UNBELIEVABLE ! )

I think Matt is beyond 'righting'
Sectioning him is the only answer!
