to the above.

I attach an updated list of those who have said that they are coming.

As you will see, it still has some missing information and contains assumptions that may need correcting.

Let me know of any amendments needed and I will include them in the next (final?) listing.

Here we are last year!! Boat already in the water in Lymington - so making the grand journey from there.

I am back in UK at the weekend and making a trip to Yarmouth overnight Friday / Saturday if anyone is around. The gale looks like it will decrease by Friday am (hopefully as have to go!!)

Does this mean that you'll be joining us again on 4 Jan? If so, how many people with you?

I wont be able to make it this year. I shall be out on my boat in Corsica for the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Not sure if they do Nachos in Bonifacio, but I will see and raise a glass to you chaps.

Cheers, have fun.

Ouch! Very sorry to hear that and hope that all goes well with the surgery. Thanks also for taking the trouble to post when you've obviously got other matters on your mind.

I have amended the Participants' List and will post a further (final?) version tomorrow.

Any further details or participants in the meantime?

David

Hi David - sorry been rather poor on keeping this up to date .

It will either be mini in the mini ribcraft ( If I get all my bits done to it ) - and you must have a go in it as I think you'll enjoy it !

Or me + 1 in Streaker if I don't get things done in time !

Launching from Lymington as I don't think an epic from Poole would go down well for a new GF as an intro to boating ( especially as I still have 'moments' thinking about the return from Cowes to Poole with you ( but I secretly loved every second !))

Have assumed that you won't get things done in time!

Look forward to meeting the new GF and agree that a repetition of our last crossing would be an unfortunate intro to boating for her. Your "Oh dear!" as we climbed the one wave which started to break was a classic of understatements!

Updated List of Participants is now attached and Yarmouth Harbour and The Wheatsheaf have been duly notified of our visit. Both wish us all a safe trip and fair weather and are looking forward to seeing us.

I suggest that anyone coming from Poole and wanting to travel in company RV by Bell Buoy (off Royal Motor Yacht Club) by 11.30am. Comms CH08.

David

Arrgh - I've been gazumped! The misses has now arranged some stupid trip to the alps! I may not survive the outfall if I attempt to challenge alternative arrangements for the Christmas period. (Probably her turn to decide after a decade of maritime adventures instigated by me).

PS Anyone got spare ski gear to loan? Mine is 80's dross (and mouldy) - I may be laughed at on the slopes!

Signed: A Reluctant Faller!

Weather forecast for Sunday currently OK: cold but dry with a moderate North-Westerly wind.

Subject to any further last minute amendments, here's what would appear to be the final list on which I will base the figures to The Wheatsheaf and Yarmouth Harbour on Saturday as requested:
