RECOVERED: ZAR 53 RIB - Suzuki 115 HP 4-Stroke - Southampton - 18 July 2007

One of our demo boats, a ZAR 53 RIB was stolen last night in the Southampton area.

Unlikely I know, but if anybody is on the road this morning perhaps you could keep an eye out. It is quite distinctive as it has a black hull, white/black tubes and had a white pvc cover. It is fitted with a Suzuki 115 HP 4-Stroke outboard and was on a single axle trailer with the make "Streamline" in red writing.

Any info please email me at dan@powerboatcompany.co.uk.

Thanks

This link says it was pinched from botley? Where was it stolen from and was that the only thing taken?

Our demo boat, which was stolen a few weeks ago, was recovered after an anonymous tip-off to the police.

Not suggesting any connection, or encouraging any vigilante action, but the recovery company contracted by the police were kind enough to include the address where the boat was found on their invoice!!

Obviously I would not be prepared to divulge this information to any other party!!

Hope it was still in good nick and hadn't been rammed into anything hard or seen the wrong end of a diesel exhaust.
A big prize for the tipster letting the police know.

Probably the thieves heard about this thread and were worried that with such a distinctive boat, it would be easily recognised and once we find out where it is, we might send the heavies round!!! We were watching...
