7.8 Ballistic Rib Stolen

7.8 Ballistic Rib Stolen

A black 7.8 Ballistic rib with teak decks and twin 225hp Merc Optimax engines was stolen in the last 48hrs (23.5.03) from the Lymington area.

This is a unique boat with numerous differences to other Ballistics one of which is the stainless steel 'A' frame.

It must be launched from a concrete slip so there are high chances of it being spotted.

If you have any details or think you have seen this boat please call 07976 926262
or
your local police station.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Anybody got a photograph of it???
or a boat name?
Coastguard been told?

We will keep a good lookout on our S/W Cruise this weekend.
I assume it was on a trailer when it was nicked?
Surely nobody would be stupid enough to put it out on the water? Get spotted too easily.

Brian,
A generic photo is available check out www.ballisticmarine.com/7.8rib.htm

It was stolen on a trailer with two wheel clamps on.
I suspect it would be used in the night not daytime!

I`m relaying a message so i`m not sure if the Coasties have been told. Will run that one down.

Chris.

But nobody will ever be able to catch them!!! (Well, perhaps Techno 40 or Mike Deacon)

but seriously though, will certainly keep a look out on the road and whenever I'm at the coast. That's a helluva lotta boat to go missing.
