It looks as if the weather will be ok so I am proposing we meet at the Southampton Dry Stack by 11AM the very latest and this will not be a short demo.
I propose we head for Portsmouth then Cowes , perhaps a short stop for lunch and then back to Southampton Dry Stack.

It would be good if there was another rib to take some photos

Lucky people

I'm really surprised more people haven't taken you up on this generous and exciting offer! Your'e not that bad a driver are you? I hope you get a boatful those that go won't regret it, I gues you could put a post on Boatmad.

Is your console at the bow or stern, I hope it's at the stern cos you don't want to have a dozen back seat drivers.

KY (supress schoolboy snigger) if it is raining just see it as a free exfoliation treatment with brine rinse Andre normally charges 40 kwid for that in his Beauty Salon

Cheers stu

Stu,

I don't think it could be my driving

the console is at the stern as it should be on passenger carrying ribs see attached photo.

How about you coming along. You can even drive the rib

Shame

Now that really is a generous and exiting offer, unfortunately I'm going to be in Hull on a boat delivery/training job! I love driving fast passenger twins, I'm not that keen on the smell though!

Yeah I know the console should be at the back, but that is downwind of the PAX I just couldn't resist the opportunity to do the backseat driver comment.

Yes the smell of the diesel fumes is for sure different then the petrol fumes.

Why do children have to be so difficult - the monster has now decided he was missing out on something and would like to come.

However..... if the spaces get booked up and another "proper" Ribnet member wishes to attend - let me know and we can leave the Knot Yet Monster with the Monster in Laws

David - please let me know if this makes things difficult for your family - it's not a problem for Chris to stay at his "I spoil him rotten and wind his mother up" Nans

Thanks again Andre - really appreciated

Thanks Andre. The two smaller As apparently have other plans for Saturday so won't be coming. Mrs A isn't very good at making decisions and has now taken the two smaller As to Thorpe Park for the day so a decision is now unlikely till this evening. If the remaining seats go, it will make the decision for her!

250kts: if you'd like a lift (I'll be coming by your way to get to Southampton) PM me.

David

After extensive ( & expensive) negotiations with Mrs BR ( mainly around how much spending she can achieve while I am out ! ) - can I take one of the last two seats please Andre ?

Thanks

Peter

PS - possibly arrange to drive over with Avocet & 250 ? ( David / Steve - am happy to drive / pick up etc as needed)
