Torquay offshore

There is a new photographer on the circuit, who is planing to be at as may of the races as he can.
I have seen the quality of his shots and they are excelent, sharpest I have seen.

If you wish to purchase any of the following then give him a call.

Mike O'Carroll 01548 856278 or 07855721260

(Thankyou Ian Austin for taking him out on the boat. Where's the photos you took?)

Cheers for pointing that out, DGR.

We'll certainly be following the racing with interest this year and looking forward to seeing Cookee winning.

Good pictures! Perhaps we ought to arrange a RIBnet photoshoot sometime so that non-racers can get some cool pictures of their boats!

John
I am happy to volunteer my services as a photographer. If anyone wants to have their RIB photographed in the Solent this year please drop me an email. Any prints will be sold at cost price for rib.net members.

I have attached a sample of my of my images from last years Round the Island race. Rag & stick, I know, but there weren't that many RIBS out on that day. They are low res scans of prints from film, so don't look so good on screen, but they give an idea of what can be achieved. I've now switched to digital & the quality is very good.

All the best.

C'mon then Cookee, surely you're not gonna just let the good folk of RIBnet carry on thinking you were 20mph faster than anyone else!

Photo's

Hi Kitten
i took one of Cookie as you know, but i didn't want to embarass the poor old chap, and the one your smoothie colegue took turned out to be a vidio capture and it was cr*p.

I didn't take any while i was out, as i was trying to get close so Mike could get some good shots, it looked as if it was very successful.

Cookie how is the kill cord throttle working these days.

See you at Exemouth or is it Teignmouth, anyway see you there.

As far as my speed is concerned don't believe everything you read!

The claims made by the RYA as to my speed have nothing to do with me whatsoever and if it went that fast I would be world champion by now!

How then they calculate speeds etc? It doesn't make sence at all!

Well I suppose it has been a while since you insulted me - or had you forgotten about that?

Anyway if you can keep it up 'till we meet, and there isn't a queue then I might consider taking you out!
