Toothy critters on a sib

Being blessed with a bit of sunshine over the Easter weekend I took the family out on the first sib cruise for the season. I acquired two Aerotec 380's last year, one grey and one red. Having sold the grey one (red is faster) it was the first time I put the red one to water.

After giving the outboard a good run in after winter hibernation it was time for some long awaited fishing action. I normally do most of my shark fishing of a kayak and with nearly a month to go before the tope sharks start to show in May, I decided to try for them in anyways. I have a suspicion they have been showing earlier the last few years and wanted to put that theory to test.

With 3 runs and and 2 landed in as many hours my suspicions were confirmed. Love it when a plan comes together - target species achieved

Would love a bigger boat, but the misses wants a new kitchen, the daughter wants a new iPad and the dog finished its bone. Maybe one day when I grow up I'll get a bigger boat...
