Ooh, what hardship! Having to stay in the pub all afternoon and all evening 'til closing time!

I take it the red face is for embarrasment and not anger !

Just remeber the old addage "people in glass houses"...... it can happen to us all ! With a little luck it won't happen to you again.

p.s

Did you plot a tidal curve before you departed ? (Yea Yea MeMe - just been on a training course have we) Yep

Good grief!

Now if I'm not very much mistaken thats the Ferry Inn at Hullbridge? Funnily enough I was out from there on Sunday with some friends in a {Cough} hardboat and they were telling me that the previous weekend some chap had left his RIB high and dry outside the pub!! No idea it was you Chris, thought you knew about tides and stuff

And its not as if its a decent pub anyway............

Alan

Look it was neaps OK, just cos I didnt actually check that fact, it was fine the last time I stopped there. I suppose if I had a dirty old grey rib no one
would have hardly noticed it
but I'm very greatfull there was nothing horrible underneath me . The trip back
at midnight on a very dark night was a bit scary though.
Do'nt tell me you were with the ski lot?
chris
