The last trip out in my valiant

Its a bit sad after a long friend ship with my valiant today was the last trip

i picked my new valiant 4.5m in may this year as most of you will recall after lord davies
had taken me out from bradwell for a spin in the 4m searider

after many increased bugets i went for a new boat thanks to mike at hern bay
and lord davies for the help

we have had more fun than most after you lot called us the sub 5m club

bradwell most weekends for the blackwater spins
the world famous sub 5m thames trip
the world war two forts from herne bay
the top trip half way around the IOW met such nice rib folks on that one
and the levington trips with wayne and peter
and the medway run 87 miles in one day

we did get around a bit must have done a least 60 hours now maybe more

well it started with a mirrior calm day on the blackwater and ended with mirrior calm day at herne bay with bilge rat testing that new yam and taking me to the ship with allthe bombs on it

so here its is folks the last pics

as you can see from the what a day 32 knots again

dan

Crikey, it only seems like yesterday that you bought the Valiant.

It's like the end of an era - the little RIB with the big presence.

We've followed the adventires of the sub-fivers and enjoyed every minute with you - even though we're not eligible to join .

So, what's next?

Nice pics Daniel, onward and upward I say. I guess it's sad to see your first pride and joy dissapear to another home, but think of the new boat and what fun you'll have with her.

Well, I suppose you have a better idea now of what you want You also have all winter to shop around. Best of luck. If you need a test drive of a ribcraft 4.8 with a 50hp engine on it. Drop me a line. Mine is in use all winter.

Don't forget to fit a fridge in the new one Dan.If you went bigger you could fit a chest freezer, think of the food you could carry on board.
