Sunset over the Irish Sea

Can't get a much better view than this.

The view from our caravan this evening. The white dot on the right is South Stack lighthouse.

Unfortunately I can now disprove the "Red sky at night" theory as it was horrible and murcky the next morning.
Good afternoon though, first time I've managed to get out on Redneck and it was wonderful

And I caught my first fish very small, not got a clue what it was and put it back. I will have BBQ mackerel (that I have caught) one day.

Hi Chris, from Trearddur Bay. Launched at 3.30 a couple of hours before high tide and parked on the main road 200 yards from the slip.
Great afternoon, made it slowly round to South Stack and did a bit of fishing on the way back.
Weather looks good tomorrow, so going to head down past Rhosneigr from Trearddur.

Didn't want to get to close, so as not to disturb the guillemots.

there are some great rick formations to explore around there, just under Ellen’s tower, and sea caves in the next bay between nth stack and sth stack. be careful around rhosniger, lots of rocks and reefs lurking to catch you out. there's a nice bay to anchor up the other side of rhosniger, Porth Trecastle, and i'm told good fishing off the reef at Carreg-y-Trai near Abberffraw. if you get that far then you should give Pilots Cove a go on Llandwyn Island off Newborough Forest, its not to me missed if you get the chance
