The few that are around the Solent got shipped back after the America's cup .
Alex how did you find your dealings with the company any hicups delays ,one of my clients is interested in having one . Is she CE cat C or B plated and for how many people he wants 8 onboard and the loo is the big selling point.

wow - thats my dream rib... and i have started researching it now...
Can I ask - was there a reason you went for the Protector over the similar Aquapro?
Both kiwi boats, not much between them spec wise it would seem...?

I think the Protector had the edge on looks, plus I was able to visit the factory to see how they were made and also speak to the coastguard in Auckland to get their opinion.
By the way she rides wonderfully. She is a heavy boat, hence the 500 horses, but that means she flattens out most waves.
Did 4 hours two weeks ago in a rough sea state coming back from the Scillies and the only problem was getting the drink out of the cupholder without letting go of the throttle..

I agree. The RIB looks so amazing, must be a magnificant craft handling and comfort wise. When I eventually purchase a beautiful 8M+ RIB like yours Alex I'm going with the Twin 250 Verado's as well. Who knows maybe outboards will be hydrogen powered before I can afford this type of setup (5-7 years)
