Sibbing in Sween

Had a lot of fun around the Fairy Isles in Loch Sween in my new (to me) 2.7m SIB. No worries about dinging the duo prop. Just get the oars going when the depth reaches 9 inches. Suprising how much push there is in the wee 3.3 2-stroke.

That's great, we were there two weeks ago in my 2.85m SIB and had a fantastic time.

We stayed at Achnamara, and visited Tayvallich a few times, which was lovely. The SIB managed 20mph with my Tohatsu 9.8 on it although we generally preferred to cruise around at lower speeds.

Nice one, I bet the fuel bill was much kinder to your wallet than when cruising on Portnahaven

Some place - they don't make them any better than that. Slept on board first night and then two nights in Auchenbeag B & B. - First Rate place.
I have a 9.9 Tohatsu - but i think that would be way too much for mine.

Well it must have made a big impression. I am up just now for three weeks. Yes Jim was telling me yesterday he had bumped into you but he never said it was here as he had been up west sailing I just took it it was somewhere up there.
