Searider gathering - The Netherlands

Last saturday we had our fall gathering.
11 Avon Searider showed up. ( 3 x 4.0; 2 x 4.7; 5 x 5.4; 1 x 6)

The start was a bit delayed because of some older Johnson v4 that didn't run correctly.
Once started we had a beautiful day.
Sunny weather with a nice 4 - 5 Bft ZW wind.
Because of the delayed start the trip was shortened to Delfzeil (Netherlands) - Island Juist (Germany) - Eemshaven and back to Delfzeil. Still a sweet 75 miles trip and a lot of fun.

Have you ever noticed how weather doesn't seem to bother Ribbers? Floatation suits, hats, gloves, goggles. All standard ribbing gear. In our part of the world, all of the "real" boats have been on blocks for a month and we're finding some fabulous weather for boating and diving.

This morning, it's -4C, sunny and flat calm. Clearly, there's no point working today!
