Round Ireland 2013 - Merlin - Bangor to Killybegs

I only had the GoPro on the boat for the leg Bangor to Killybegs, and got the footage more by accident than by design, so nothing special am afraid.
I wished I had taken more pictures, would have been easier with a crew mate, and the camera wasn't on my mind to be honest. Ah well, just another reason to do it again !

Nice Video

I must know the following in the interest of doing such an event in the future.
If you were to do this event again what would you change/ improve.

E.g.

would you carry out improvements on the boat? if so which one?
Would you carry out a phyisical fitness regime before the event?
Seek additional training etc....
What would you have changed if you were orgainising the event. I am not looking for critism of any parties involded

oh..I dont believe they are a gimmick.
they are expensive and am sure some folks will be along to tell you
which is best, but I will certainly be fitting one as soon as I can afford it.

The Scott suspension seating on Black Hawk turned an ordeal into an adventure
We ran in company with Option 4, Alan Macadams has had to go to hospital for back treatment Terry Newton suffered greatly with back pains and the lads on Top Cat were looking enviously on as we cruised around in our armchairs (sic)
seriously I would not contemplate a challenge like the RI13 without suspension seats,or even better ICE like Linley Swan or Sea Wolf.Expensive yes but better than traction!
