Which parts of the Broads did you explore? Did you get shouted at when you were out on the river? I always seem to get shouted at for the wake I produce, even when I keep to the speed limit! (I live near Horning and regularly explore that area).

Just had another look at your top photo. That looks like the Ferry pub in the background. I often use the slip opposite.

Ferry Inn

Yes it is the ferry, i used the slip at Wroxham Broad. We visited Coltishal, Wroxham, Salhouse all the dykes around Horning, Ranworth, South Walsham along the Thurne upto Potter Heigham and (Lathams). Spent most of our time looking for holiday cottages for sale but they are too dear.

Yes it is a free slip and it is at Wroxham Broad, right hand side of the sailing club, lots of parking.
