Ribex Friday

Hi all,

Here are a few snaps from Ribex today. The weather was perfect in the morning, but boy did it rain later in the afternoon

Team Banana Shark, Scorpion and £200k Pascoe tender...

Cheers.

A few more snaps!

We decided not to take our rib as Mike has a bad back (!!), and arrived at lunchtime via the high speed ferry so managed a couple of hours before the monsoon started!! Great display! Given the weather later in the afternoon we were glad of shelter on the crossing back to Southampton! And it's still raining 5 hours later...the glories of a British "summer"! And we don't want comments from San Diego that you've been in shorts since Christmas day....only kidding Darrall (limeydal!!)

Drat Jewels,
all jealous now!!
Wish I could have timed my trip over to the UK to coincide with the show!!
Great shots;looks as though you have got the hang of that new camera now.
Some nice looking craft;I will take one of each ,(as long as they come in Orange)
That RNLI boat is right up my street Please bring me one on your next visit to the States.
You guys are spoilt for choice over there!!!!
cheers Dal
PS. stop getting so frisky with Mike,he's getting old now and his back can't cope

Hard working ladies!

They sat in the sun all day last year looking gorgeous!

Parker RIBs nearby benefited from the reflected glory

Are they there this year?

Te Orange Girls

Didn't spot the orange girls this year, but they wouldn't have enjoyed the weather anyway! Imagine the poor things in soaking wet spray on lycra ...would have given them a right chill...poor souls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a great day today, after yeasterdays washout.

Left from Lymington in time to see the new Hot Lemon being launched.

We were busy with demonstrations all day. Pics 1 & 2 are Paul Glatzel in Bojangles on our way out to a rendevous with a film crew for local TV.

Cheers.

Ian.

Poor !things

Obviously you guys over there have no place for scantily clad girls!!
Shocking to see them being treated so badly on display in atrocious weather
What they need is some warm sandy beaches and some attention!
Did you notice in your photo .all the men are looking at the boats behind them! Shame on you all. Not one glance at their transoms!!

So please send them over here to California and I will do my best to warm them up.
Ok ,just have to get the idea past my wife; and maybe class them as essential RIB accessories.
Safety gear for emergencies/flotation devices/crew/navigational aids
Oh well,will keep dreaming!!!
(liked the ones in orange better though!! ) Who's got those photos???

cheers Dal
