Hi Chaps, I'm having a hell of a job getting my pictures sized correctly to fit the forum parametres. I use the smallest setting on my camera which is 1024 x 768 but when I come to load the forum advises they must be 550 x 500 or something similar. So I've used PaintStudio which I down loaded from the net but it's pretty tricky to use (and I'm pretty good at this stuff). What would you advise? Thanks Mr Frustrated

Obviously you're not - the maximum size of your picture should be 204800 bytes.
Paintstudio could not be simpler....after you have resized the pic, save it optimised and then check the size.

If your using XP then theres a simple editor built in.

On the drop down menu click on resize and scroll down to the size required.

Very easy

Only draw back there is no batch fuction to do a load at once.

Or if you want to make a serious investment in software, Adobe Photoshop does absolutely everything, it's the de facto choice of professional graphic artists. And very easy to use. Sit down before looking at the cost, though

Richard,

Its easy to use if you use all day everyday. I've tried it and way too complicated for casual use.

As you say professional graphic artists not for the faint hearted IMHO

Just my 2 cents
