Photography from RIB

Got my first piece of work in print today so dead chuffed
It's only the San Diego Maritime Museum quarterly publication (but have to start somewhere!)
Took quite a few shots the other month during the displays. They didn't mind me dodging in and out of the battle as as they said I was "highly visible and very manouverable".
So got the back page (Some rich famous photographer in his helicopter got the front page)
But a useful contact to make and hopefully more to follow,
cheers Dal

Many thanks!
Don't know how the pro guy can call himself a Maritime Photographer when he flies around in a chopper
Nice to have your own pilot and just concentrate on the shot at hand.
Let him try working out where the two boats will be and where to position yourself ready for the shot when steering and shooting at the same time

(Actually I saw the guys work on exibition at the museum and his stuff is pretty impressive )
