Pacific 22 Project

Hi peeps hope you are well, this thread is about the rebuild of a 1991 pacific 22, it is being converted to outboard with new deck, seating, fuel tanks etc.

They always say that owner's look like their dogs. I'm thinking the same might be true about Pac 22's

Good project.

I left the rear lifting points on as they provide a good point to attach a tie down strap to by bringing it in through the freeing ports plus you can use them as part of a towing bridle.

Except the top of the freeing port saws its way through the tow rope - don't ask me how I know!!

It needs a bit of hose through the freeing port to protect the rope.

The project is looking good.

Grey for the hull gets my vote.

A Little Update on things.

We are now putting the fuel tanks in, two brand new Tanks, 160ltrs each, here is a picture of the brackets being welding in situ.

Spoke to Suzuki at the Southampton Boat Show, and we may have an engine coming in the next 2-3months 300Hp fingers Crossed.

Things are now coming along nicely.

we have received Raymarine's Axiom System ready to install when we can and and Icom Radio.

Apologies not getting back sooner, location River Clyde, all going well till turbo crapped out, closely followed by trailer axels.
