Not a GoPro

Just released, a different waterproof camera. Pete M got us to try for a couple of days and some of the footage ended up in the Promo video

I looked Kitvision up on Amazon and the model shown is different to the one you used. What model number was it?

This Kitvision camera isn't on the market yet - hence why I was given one to 'test' out with regard to several things ( the quality of the picture etc being one) .

I think there are only a couple in the UK at present . The ocmpany are still working on packaging and details but as far as I am aware its a 5mp camera - shooting 1080/ 30fps or 720 at 60fps - waterproof to 10m . Wifi streaming priced to be significantly less than the gopro as its aimed at the more 'occasional' user who cant justify gopro prices....

I was pleasantly surprised by its ease of use and quality of footage and while the mount sytem is differant to go pro etc - I found it actually works well on the boat - mounts went on the engine tie bar up to A frame ( 2 inch diameter) very firmly and with no 'extra' mounts needed .

I would be very interested when this available on the market and the target price. As you say the Go Pro is pretty expensive for limited use.

As soon as I have firmer details on price and when it comes to market I'll post...

Of course it's loads better than anything AJ has ..( and he's working miles away at the moment.....)

Ha ha I still had time to check in. Am back now. Looks interesting. Would be good to do some side by side comparisons with the go pro black edition
