Can you give us a few more details about the boat please? Length? Beam? Whose design?
Edit: Do you intend to cut into the deck to provide additional storage?

Louise,
the rib is my own design (leeway Composites), I have been in the industry for 11 years now and worked for many companies. I have made ribs for other's and have gained lots of experience and knowledge. I wanted to combined a lot of my own thoughts and ideas. so here I am just waiting for my personally designed and built rib to get back from the tubers.

the length is a 6m with an internal deck beam of 56" (between tubes). the hull is a steep v, has quite a positive outer chime with high rise bow and spray rails for a dry ride that will give good lift for anti stuffing. the inner deck is cambered with high bow giving extra deck width for manoeuvrability, comfort and style witch leads to having more storage space for anchor locker and stowage compartments. the tubes will be tapered for a sleek modern look. im going for a 115 evinrude. she will be ce tested to a cat C.

my intensions are to build a perfect rib for myself but I will have the mould's just in case people are interested in the future (who knows)..

I'll be picking the rib up on friday so I will post a couple pics with tubes on her soon.

I have a new design under construction for a console might post a couple pics of that soon..

Thanks for the very comprehensive reply, Leeway. You say the hull is a 'steep vee' - could you tell us the deadrise please? I assume it is straight rather than warped?

Looking forward to seeing some more pics and seeing you out and about in her soon.

Louise,
the dead rise is 22 and is warped, giving a much better sea handling in the ruff/chop.

i'll post some more picys soon,
