NEW RIB SAFARI boat under construction

We ordered new RIB from TechnoMarine in Poland in November and last week they started production.

The RIB will be powered by twin Suzuki DF300

We will put up pictures on here to share with you our excitement for the new boat.

We bought second hand TechnoMarine rib this summer powered by Yamaha diesel which we like a lot.

We did try Parker 900 over here and we liked them very much, we did buy second hand TechnoMarine 10 metre with Yamaha diesel and she is great in our conditions which are high waves and we are cruising in open Atlantic ocean, this one will be actualy a meter longer as there will be bracket were the engines will be mounted on and seats for 14 passangers.

Nice hull.
Bogi is a kind of legend when comes to ribs in Iceland, our island is where you will find most of inflatables and ribs as we go a lot to sourroundings islands and cliffs so boats are our way of transportation.

Good luck!

How is business out there, are you replacing your existing boat, or adding to it?

What seating layout will you go for.

Kepp us posted as you progress!

We are addding on, our existing one is registered for 10 people, the new one will be registered for 12 although it will have seating for 14 plus the rear bench (behind crew)

The business has been good and we have lot of exciting sceneries to show our customers, cliffs, caves, whales, birds etc

Do you have a web site?

We are starting a similar operation in Scotland, any information would be appreciated.

If you get the chance, check out fuel tank access once the consol and seating are in place. Whilst its not something you are likely to do weekly, if you do it can be all but impossible without considerable deconstruction.
Assuming you need gas detectors, my experience has been that they are not terribly robust and incredibly difficult to access.

Regards
Steve

Thanks for the info Steve, we do not have to fit gas detector.
The access to fuel tanks shall be better than at the Parkers we have come around.

new boat and sea safari

That's very good of you.Nice to hear you enjoyed your visit to the St.Davids area.Hope you will come again. You must try the Cleddau waterway on a warm day as you can explore for hours. There's 20 miles of river and estuary to see.
Maybe i'll manage to get over to iceland this summer and i'll look you up.Regards,Chris.
