New Parker 900 Baltic Cabin Twin Jet

Finally after a lot of hard work we had the opportunity yesterday to do the first water test of the new Parker 900 Baltic Cabin with a twin jet installation. The Parker 900 Baltic is fitted with twin Cummins Mercruiser 4,2 litre 250 HP engines , 2 x ZF gearbox and 2 x Hamilton JETS. The fuel capacity is 600 litres. We achieved very good results, with a top speed of around 38knots.The boat weighs 4,5tonnes. The twin jet installation allows for superb maneuverability which with a boat of this size is incredibly important. The boat responds perfectly and does everything the helmsman would like it to do. Gliding in sideway’s to the pier being a doddle ;-) and 360 degree turns on the spot. The boat almost stops on the spot from full speed , making an emergency stop very quick and safe. I have attached a few photo’s for all to see. We in total shall be manufacturing 6 units and 2 x 16metre boats in November. I have attached a few pics for all to see ;-)

visibility

Yes, the visibility is supperb, almost a full 360 degree view. The forward slanting screen also gives the cabin a very spacey feeling and makes it very comfartable for long hours on the water.
The boat is also kitted out with a sink , toilet and cooker and sleeping for 3 very comfortably under the deck. 4 can also sleep but it becomes a bit tight., however there is a possibility as an option of having a bed for 2 fitted at the back of the wheelhouse, then 4 sleep very comfortably.
