Mini ROV Demo

As promised, a few pics from a ROV SAR demo. The ROVs are 17-20kgs approx. and about the size of decent hand-luggage. SARbot (red) can be deployed from boxed by two operators in under five minutes. The screenshot shows the control monitor. This displays HD video and SONAR, also the ROVs position on a chart, if tracking equipment is deployed.

Not shown is a SONAR scanning and tracking system that can perform 360 degree benthic scans over a 75m radius, while logging other tagged deployables, e.g. ROVs and divers. This SONAR has been integrated in a divers handheld prototype, for use in low viz conditions.
