Littlehampton / River Arun Sunday 18th July

Just a few snaps taken at Littlehampton today of Galaxsea 2 and Seahawk 2. Unfortunately none were taken out at sea cos it was quite rough out there today and our official photographer decided not to go out only take some snaps from the safe haven of the pier.

we got soaked without our dry suits so a steady cruise up the Arun was a pleasant way of drying out

Taking to the RNLI is Colin Mr Harbour Master and would guess he is checking whether they have displayed their harbour dues licence .

Colin was out on his launch in the middle of the river today checking all boat traffic for valid licence stickers
Phil was lucky cos he had only just paid his

Good pics Andre, was the sea level similar to the Regatta ?
Sorry I missed you that Sunday.

Both really nice looking boats.

River Arun looks a particularly pleasant rough weather alternative too.

Will add it to my places to visit list.

Glad you had a good time and nice pics. Looking forward to seeing you all soon. BTW, Richard is going to post some proposed details of a midweek trip to Old Harry soon - hope you can make it.

Me too, but for sure we will meet again .
Today the weather was bad . The weather during the Sunday of the Regatta was much better however I understand Saturday was the worst day

You were right about the photos, they did come out well !!

A good day once the weatherr had cleared up, just a shame about the sea state.

See you soon.

Robin

for sure worth doing and if you have not got an A frame you could even go as far as Pulborough. If you get the time right you could go up on the flood and down on the ebb. The Black Rabbit is a good place for lunch only poor mooring facilities
