Lets see ya boat then

OK, in an attempt to quench my boredom and avoid doing uni work, I thought I would start this thread. I am also very interested in posts that will hopefully be added and am hoping to get some inspiration for my RIB project.

In the time I have been active on this forum (since June ish) I have not seen any thread that has been dedicated displaying your pride and joys. I thought it might be nice for people to show everyone else their boat, so then we can all go "oooo thats nice...I'm so jealous" and maybe people who are thinking of buying a new boat can see what other people have and use the thread as an opportunity to ask their opinion on it. Apologies if a thread was started with this subject before I was around (I find it hard to believe that it wasn’t!)

I reckon if people post a pic of their boat zipping along, one of the internal layout, another of the electronics layout on their console, another of the business end (brum brum) and any others they might have, that would give a good overall view of everyone’s boats!

This might fall at the first hurdle, but lets hope not. The pic I have attached may not be entirely graphically accurate, but its perfectly to scale (almost) , as it was drawn using the world renown CAD software that is MS Paint . My boat is at home, and I’m at uni so I don’t have any photos as yet!

I'm sure everyone likes to post pics of their RIB, so lets see em.

Cheers

Tim

Nice idea and what a great picture - I didn't know your artistic talents extended beyond photography!

Richard might post some pics of Blue Ice later but I'm too lazy to find them so instead you can click on the link in my signature and see lots of piccies of Blue Ice there! Hope you like them!

Looking good, thanks for posting the pics!

Tue, how on earth did you manage to resurrect that boat?! You've done a great job, you must have put a lot of work into it. Did you get her re-tubed or did you just clean the old ones?

Cheers

Tim

Thanks. It took a year to get her to this stage. Had to cut out most of the floor and bulkheads and replace them all. Then got it all glassed in. Bought a new console and seat from Outhill and got to set it all up as I wanted it. With plenty of advice from here of course . I haven't had her re-tubed yet just cleaned them up with Mr Muscle.

Sorry Tim, this is off topic but:

Regrettably it's not my boat, she belogs to Ashleyd I'm just talking ballast and chief publicity officer

The when the 'Onda 225 was running she maxed out at about 46 knts. The new engine has just been fitted. The guys in the yard reckon at least 55knts with the Etec. We will find out on Wednesday

Brambles.
